Known as the friendly neighborhood nonprofit, Cos4Hope is an educational non-profit dedicated to inspiring hope for mental wellness and suicide prevention. Serving the Kansas City, Jackson, and Johnson County areas since 2018, our team blends crucial mental health conversations with the power of pop culture.

We believe a bit of geek exists in every person. Whether you are navigating your journey as a Hero, an Anti-Hero, a Villain, or an NPC, those beloved stories give us the courage and hope we need when things get dark.

By celebrating the fandoms we love, we are building a welcoming space where no one has to face their darkest chapters by themselves. We are here to provide the support, education, and resources you need.

Purpose

We wish to form a sense of cosmunity/conmunity that offers compassion and equality for those who seek or want support through a network of mental health and suicide prevention activists and advocates. We also hope to save and change lives using cosplay and fandom families through inclusive and supportive collaboration for mental health awareness and suicide prevention efforts.
