Cos4Hope was co-founded by UCM McNair Scholar Alumna, April Roller-Morris in 2018. The organization received its official nonprofit status after years of foundational work in 2023. All funds raised remain local and support Cos4Hope's mission, programs, and activities. 

This year, Cos4Hope has welcomed new board members, participated in almost 40 events, hosted their HopeCon+Walk, received a City of Warrensburg Mental Health Awareness Month Proclamation, and launched a new program, Cos4Hope Kids, focused on mental wellness and suicide prevention education for kids by kids. Cos4Hope has several more events planned this year and continues to log countless volunteer hours by engaging in hundreds of crucial conversations about mental wellness and suicide.
